portrait1.jpgEliot Bergman’s work is warm, simple and fun. Bergman avoids many of the ‘high-tech’ cliches associated with digital illustration. After training at The Cooper Union, New York, Bergman studied in Basel, Switzerland, under designers whose philosophies characterize modern Swiss graphic design, philosophies that stress craft and clarity. These ideas, as well as his passion for teaching (he taught for six years at Parsons School of Design, New York) remain with him. A brief stint at Fortune magazine quickly developed into a successful business. Mr. Bergman enjoys working for clients in both Japan and the U.S. He feels that working in different cultures enhances his ability to create images that communicate universally.
